Release WK47-24

Hi all 👋,

As we mentioned in our previous update, we have some exciting developments in the works that we’re eager to share with you in the coming weeks. It's always a pleasure to reveal the hard work our team has been putting in to enhance your experience with PitchPrint. Stay tuned for more updates!

What's new🚀,

Generate a single Project for All Variations - Previously, our system would segregate all records from the CSV and place each record into a separate file. We have now introduced an option that allows the admin to download all records into a single print file, offering enhanced convenience and efficiency. By default, the records will still be segregated into individual files, but once the admin enables this new functionality, all records will be consolidated into one file. Please follow the steps below to enable this amazing new feature:

Go to Modules.

Ensure that variable data is enabled. Next, activate the "Generate one project for all variations" option, as shown below, and click "Save" to apply the changes.

Edit product in Cart on Shopify - In the past, once a customer clicked the "Add to Cart" button after customizing a product, they had limited options — either they would leave the item as is or start over if they missed something or made a mistake. We've listened to your feedback, and we're excited to introduce the Edit from Cart functionality on Shopify.

Now, customers can easily make changes to their customization directly from the cart if they forgot something or need to correct an error. This new feature not only enhances the customer experience but also contributes to better retention and reduces the need for refunds on orders. The customer simply needs to click on the product image in their cart to return to the editor and make any necessary changes.

Sort Designs in Admin - We have introduced a new functionality that automatically sorts design files alphabetically and numerically. This feature will be available to all accounts by default.

We also fixed the following issues:

DPI warning icon - One of our customers reported an issue where the DPI warning icon would persist even after an image was upscaled. We’ve addressed this, and the warning will now automatically disappear once the image has been upscaled to an appropriate resolution.

Minimum font size - We identified an issue where both the end user and admin were able to scale a text field below the minimum font size specified in the settings. This has been resolved, and text fields will now adhere to the minimum font size set either per design or in the general settings.

That’s all for this week! Be sure to join us in our next post for some exciting updates and fixes. Wishing you a wonderful weekend from the PitchPrint Team! 🤗
