Edit User Name in PitchPrint Admin - Previously, administrators could only modify the store association and access permissions for an admin user. This update introduces the ability to edit user and admin names directly within the PitchPrint admin panel.

Move Designs Across Categories - The move functionality has been reintroduced in the PitchPrint admin. This feature was previously removed while we refined its behavior, and it has now been fully rebuilt for improved reliability. You can now easily move designs between categories.

Scale Grouped Items in Canvas Adjuster - We’ve enhanced the canvas adjuster to support automatic scaling for grouped items. Previously, this feature worked well for individual elements but did not fully support groups. With this update, grouped items will now scale proportionally when customers adjust canvas dimensions, ensuring a more consistent and reliable design experience.

Right-Click Copy and Paste - An issue affecting right-click copy and paste functionality has been resolved. Users can now reliably copy items from the editor, paste content into the editor, and transfer items between pages as expected.

Issue with new color and Design Configuration - One of our customers reported an issue whereby sometimes the design settings would be cleared upon opening it. We troubleshooted and traced the root cause back to an issue in the new text color value. We've since made an update to fix the issue and all settings should remain visible in the design configuration.

3D Model Pagination Fix - We resolved an issue affecting the 3D model pagination feature, where models not included in the initially loaded set could be unintentionally removed from a design after updating and saving the design configuration. This has been corrected, and models will now remain properly assigned to a design regardless of their position within the paginated model list.

Welcome to our first release of 2026 — better late than never!

We have an exciting year ahead, with a strong focus on improving platform stability and resolving existing issues to enhance your overall experience. Alongside these improvements, we’ll also be introducing several new features designed to add even more value to the platform.

What's new🚀,

3D Designs Search and Filter – We’ve added the ability to search for 3D models by name. This feature is especially useful for stores with a large library of models, allowing you to quickly locate a specific design without having to navigate through multiple pages. It’s a simple but powerful enhancement to help you manage your 3D assets more efficiently.

Option to Close Design Configuration Without Adding a Title – Previously, the Design Configuration window could not be closed if the title field was left empty, which made it difficult to exit without entering a title.

We’ve now updated this behavior: closing or cancelling the window is now possible even when the title field is empty, giving you the flexibility to exit the configuration smoothly without being forced to add a title.

New 3D scenes

We also fixed the following bugs:

AI and EPS Upload Fix – We resolved an issue that was preventing AI and EPS files from uploading correctly. This has now been fixed, and both file formats are functioning as expected.

Add New Page – We resolved an issue where end users were still able to add a new page via the Page Loader module, even when this functionality was disabled.

This has now been corrected. When the “Add New Page” feature is disabled, clicking the button will no longer trigger any action. We also fixed an issue where clicking on the page thumbnail would also add a new page.

With this update, the feature now fully respects the disabled setting and prevents end users from adding additional pages when it is turned off.

We’re excited to introduce the newest addition to our toolkit — AI Text Edit! 🎉

Now, editing your text has never been easier. You’ll find it right in the pop-up menu for text edits, making it quick to tweak, polish, or completely reimagine your wording without leaving the design. Whether you’re adding a personal touch to a card, updating a flyer, or experimenting with different styles, this tool makes it simple and fun to get your text just right.

It’s designed to save you time, spark creativity, and give you a little extra inspiration whenever you need it. Take a look at the image below to see it in action — and don’t be afraid to play around with it! We think you’ll love how it brings your words to life.

The possibilities with this feature are endless! Every piece can have unique, custom text in just a few clicks, making your designs truly one-of-a-kind. Give it a try and see how it can make creating stationery faster, easier, and a lot more fun!

You can start by describing what you want — though this is completely optional. Next, choose the action you want to apply to your text. Options include casual, formal, fun, inspiring, motivational, rewriting your content, fixing spelling, or making your text shorter or longer.

The best part? The feature automatically detects your current text inside the text field and applies the selected action, so you can instantly transform your words exactly how you want. Whether you’re looking to make your message more playful, polished, or impactful, this tool helps you craft text that truly fits your vision — all in just a few clicks.

To begin using this functionality, simply reload your layout. Please ensure that any custom CSS or JavaScript code is saved elsewhere before proceeding.

New 3D scenes - We’ve added several new 3D scenes to our store and would like to share an example with you. Please refer to the GIF below for a preview.

We also fixed the following bugs:

Double initialization on Wordpress - We identified an issue where the editor would sometimes be initialized twice on products that had variations enabled.

The issue has now been resolved. The system first checks whether the editor has already been initialized and, if so, prevents a second initialization from occurring. This ensures a smoother and more reliable experience when working with products that have variations, making the editor faster and more consistent for all users.

Duplicate design for re-order - We also identified an issue on WordPress where duplicating a design from a customer’s account didn’t always carry over the project correctly. Previously, it looked like the design was added to the product, but if the customer clicked “Add to Cart” without opening the editor again, the design would be cleared and no project data would be included in the order.

This issue has now been fixed. Duplicated designs will carry all project data correctly, whether the customer edits the design in the editor or submits it directly to the cart. All associated files will now be properly attached to the order, ensuring a seamless experience from duplication to checkout.

Scrollbar to the end of Resource Page - The resource page was cutting off at the bottom of the page and it wasn't possible to see anything at the bottom. We added a scroll bar in order for admins to see the list of resources in the list. Please refer to the image below:

AI Imaginate duplicate generation - We identified an issue on the front end where duplicate images were being generated when customers used the AI Imaginate tool. This has been resolved, and moving forward, only one image will be generated per prompt.

Raster file download for customers - We initially offered customers the ability to download only PDF files from the editor. Over time, we expanded this to include JPG and PNG formats. With this latest update, admins can now enable an option for customers to download raster files only. This enhancement provides greater flexibility for users who prefer raster outputs for print or web use, helping streamline their download process and workflow.

To enable this amazing new feature go to settings >> Scroll down to Downloads and enable the setting as shown below:

Delete images in AI studio - The launch of the AI Studio in Admin was a major milestone for us. While it’s still in BETA, we continue to enhance its functionality every day. With this update, admins can now delete files created within the AI Studio, making it easier to remove unwanted or test files and maintain a clean workspace.

Bigcommerce display modes - We identified an issue where product-specific display mode settings in BigCommerce would not save and instead revert to the default display mode configured in settings. This issue has now been resolved, and display modes will correctly save and apply per product as intended.

3D Model sorting and Pagination - Our 3D Studio has grown significantly over the past few months with the addition of many new models. To make browsing and managing these models easier, we’ve introduced pagination, which organizes models across multiple pages for smoother navigation.

In addition, models are now sorted into categories, making it much easier for admins to find and import the models they need.

Rather than overwhelming you with the full library of tutorials, the guide focuses on what you need for your own store, making it easy to follow and immediately actionable.

Load More 3D models - We’ve been steadily expanding our 3D model collection, and it can sometimes be challenging to find specific models. To make browsing easier, we’ve added a “Load More” button, which loads models in sets each time it’s clicked. This update helps admins quickly access and manage models, even as the collection continues to grow.

We also fixed the following bugs:

PDF upload unit of measurement - We’ve enhanced the way uploaded PDF design files are managed in the admin. Previously, updating the unit of measurement to MM would cause problems when displaying the file. This has now been fully resolved. From here on, when an admin uploads a PDF file as a design and updates the unit of measurement, the file will remain stable and all pages will display correctly.

This update ensures smoother handling of design files, greater consistency across different units of measurement, and a more reliable workflow for admins uploading their own designs in PitchPrint.

Product page upload on Bigcommerce, WIX and EKM - One of the key features of our plugin is the external file uploader. This allows your customers to upload their own completed design files when placing an order—rather than using the editor to create a design from scratch. It's a convenient option for users who have already prepared their designs elsewhere and just want to upload and order.

Previously, this feature was only available on platforms like Shopify, OpenCart, PrestaShop, and WordPress. We're pleased to let you know that it has now been extended to also support EKM, BigCommerce, and WIX.

To enable this feature, simply go to the Products tab in your PitchPrint admin panel hover over the product and turn on the "Product Upload" option for the relevant products.

Sync User data across pages when using Page Loader - We’ve resolved an issue reported by a customer involving the Page Loader module. Previously, when switching between pages within the editor, user data (such as names, email addresses, etc.) was not syncing correctly, requiring manual re-entry on each page.

Our platform includes a feature that automatically syncs logged-in user data directly into the editor to streamline the design process. You can learn more about this functionality on our User Data documentation page.

User data now syncs consistently across all pages inside the editor when using the Page Loader module.This update ensures a smoother and more efficient experience for customers working with multi-page designs.

We're excited to introduce a collection of stunning new 3D models and fully built 3D scenes now available in our library. These are perfect for taking your product visuals to the next level!

Image source picker - A few weeks ago, we introduced powerful new capabilities to our Image Source Picker, including automatic placement of customer-uploaded images directly into canvas masks. Additionally, admins now have the option to launch the source picker immediately when the editor opens.

To access the updated Image Source Picker, please navigate to the Layouts section and click on Reload Latest.

Auto-Scale Items Canvas adjuster - Traditionally, the Canvas Adjuster only modified the canvas dimensions—often causing items to stretch or shift out of place. To solve this, we introduced the Smart Sizes feature, allowing admins to define multiple canvas variations while maintaining consistent item placement. However, we know this process can be time-consuming.

That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce a major upgrade: Auto-Scale Items! 🎉
With this enhancement, items are now automatically resized and repositioned to fit proportionally whenever the canvas size changes—eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

Runtime Endpoint to Fetch user projects - We've introduced a new API endpoint that allows you to retrieve all projects associated with a specific user, using their userId.

In response to this feedback, we're excited to announce the launch of our AI Studio—a powerful new feature available within the admin panel. The AI Studio allows administrators to generate high-quality image resources simply by entering descriptive text prompts. This makes it easier than ever to create custom graphics, backgrounds, or product visuals on the fly, without the need for third-party tools or graphic design experience.

This new tool provides added flexibility and creative control, helping you streamline your workflow and enhance the design experience for your customers.

How to Get Started

To use the AI Studio, log in to your admin account and go to the AI Studio section. Click on the Create New button to begin.

Steps to Generate an Image

1. Enter a Text Prompt – Describe the image you want to create.
2. Select a Size – Choose the image dimensions.
3. Select a Style – Pick a visual style, then click Generate.

AI Studio Feature Overview:

• Use Template – Start with a previously created template as your prompt. This is ideal for reusing or editing existing prompts to streamline your workflow.
• Use Prompt – Enter a custom text prompt from scratch to generate a new image tailored to your specific needs.

• Remove Background – Instantly removes the image background.

Show image picker onload - Previously, the image picker would only appear after a customer clicked on a clickable mask within the canvas. We’ve now introduced a new feature that allows the image source picker to open automatically when the design loads, making it easier for customers to begin selecting images right away.

Please note that this feature is optional and can be enabled or left disabled based on your preference.

To enable this feature, please follow the steps outlined below.

Go to https://admin.pitchprint.com/designs and click on the gear icon as shown below:

Scroll down and enable Show Image Picker onload as shown below then save.

You should see the picker automatically load once the designer has loaded. Please refer to the image below:

Automatically place images inside empty masks - You asked—we listened. Many of our customers requested the ability for end users to click on an image and have it automatically placed into an empty mask. We're excited to introduce this new feature, which does exactly that. By default, clicking an image adds it to the canvas. With this feature enabled, if there’s an empty mask available, the image will automatically fill it.

In addition, this enhancement includes automatic image placement after upload. Once a customer uploads their image(s) into the designer, the system will automatically fill any available empty masks on the canvas—streamlining the design process and improving the user experience.

Please note:
− This feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled based on your needs.
− It only works when at least one empty mask is present on the canvas. If all masks are already filled, the image will be added to the canvas as usual.

To enable this feature, please follow the steps outlined below.

Get design previews and thumbnails from API - We currently offer an API that enables you to fetch both the design and its associated data. However, in many custom integrations, developers often only need to retrieve preview images—for example, to display them on category pages or in areas where the design editor isn't available.

To address this need, we've introduced a new API endpoint that allows you to fetch previews independently. Please refer to the endpoint details below:

Shopify Cart editor and modules - We resolved an issue in the cart editor where, upon editing a project from the cart, the editor would open but the modules associated with the project were not retained. This has now been fixed—any modules previously assigned to a design will remain available throughout the editing process.

Issue with Grommets - A few months ago, we introduced a feature called Grommets, which allows admins to add holes to designs—such as for flag poles, signs, and banners. Recently, this feature experienced an issue that caused it to stop working. We’ve identified the problem, applied a fix, and the Grommets feature should now function as expected.

Our primary goal was to improve overall performance, streamline customization handling, and ensure seamless compatibility with the latest WordPress standards. In doing so, we’ve also addressed a number of long-standing issues that WordPress users may have encountered, resulting in a more stable and optimized plugin.

This overhaul sets the foundation for future enhancements and reinforces our commitment to providing a high-quality solution for our WordPress community.

• Major upgrade implemented - This release introduces significant improvements and new features to enhance performance, reliability, and compatibility.
• Implemented WordPress Transients API for saving and retrieving customizations, with browser localStorage as fallback - Customizations are now stored more efficiently using the Transients API, improving speed and scalability. If transients aren't available or are cleared, localStorage ensures users don’t lose data.
• Tested up to WordPress 6.7 - The plugin is fully compatible and stable with the latest version of WordPress (6.7), ensuring future-proof operation.
• Fixed issue with legacy orders - A bug affecting older orders has been resolved, restoring expected functionality and data consistency for long-term users.
• Removed customizations from email and added it as an option - Customizations are no longer included by default in order emails. This feature can now be toggled on or off based on user preference.
• Limited previews in admin order details to 4 - Admins will now see up to 4 previews in order details, optimizing load times and reducing clutter for large customization sets.
• Moved the Uploads folder outside the plugin into WordPress root for easy access Uploads are now stored in a central location outside the plugin folder, making them more accessible and persistent across updates.
• Fixed an issue with file uploads not registering - A bug that prevented uploaded files from being registered correctly has been resolved to ensure file data is captured reliably.
• Plugin reports and updates orderId against a PitchPrint project - Each order is now properly linked and updated against its corresponding PitchPrint project, improving tracking and integration.
• Updates the userId if the user was a guest when the order was placed - If a guest later becomes a registered user, their order is now correctly associated with their user account for better continuity.
• Fixed issue with webhooks - Webhook functionality has been stabilized, ensuring real-time communication and automation with external systems.
• Added session as a backup for saving and retrieving customizations on sites where other plugins reset transient data - For sites where other plugins interfere with transients, session storage ensures customization data is retained without interruption.
• SVN now includes functions/general/email.php file - The email-related functions file is now included in the SVN repository, ensuring full availability during deployment or installation.
• Tested with the latest version of WordPress - Final compatibility and QA testing confirmed seamless operation with the most recent WordPress release.
• Fixed email download link issue - The issue where the download link in emails was broken or missing has been resolved, restoring full download functionality.

Switch to Data Form when text is selected - We’re excited to share a new functionality designed to enhance your customers' experience and simplify the design process.

When the Data Form module is enabled, and a customer is viewing a different tab, clicking on any text element on the canvas will now automatically redirect them back to the Data Form. This allows them to seamlessly edit the selected text without needing to manually switch tabs.

This small but powerful improvement helps ensure a smoother, more intuitive workflow for your users. Please take a moment to view the short clip below for additional clarity:

Tiff File format dowloads - For the past few years, our platform has supported PDF, JPEG, and PNG as the primary file formats available for download. We’re excited to share that we've now added TIFF as a download option!

This new format is available both in the admin panel and within the Order Details section of your website admin.

Add to Cart button disabled with File uploads - We recently introduced the functionality to disable the Add to Cart button until a customer finalizes their design. While this feature worked effectively for users engaging with the design editor, we identified a gap for customers who uploaded finalized design files via our external file uploader.

We're pleased to let you know that this functionality has now been enhanced. It now applies to the external file uploader as well. This means that if a site relies solely on the upload feature, the Add to Cart button will remain inactive until the customer uploads a file. Please refer to the images below for further clarity:

This update ensures a more consistent experience across different workflows and helps prevent incomplete orders.

We also fixed the following bugs:

Data form file upload restrictions - Previously, when the Data Form module was enabled and a clickable mask was added to the form, users were able to upload various file types. However, only PDF and raster image files (e.g., JPEG, PNG) are officially supported.

We’ve now updated this functionality to ensure that only PDF and raster image files are accepted during upload. This change prevents issues where unsupported file types would appear to load but fail to upload properly. Please refer to the image below for further clarity:

What's new 🚀,

DPI check for backgrounds - Previously, DPI check was only available for images added to the canvas. We are pleased to inform you that this functionality has now been extended to include the background. Once DPI is enabled in the application and a background is added, a warning message and icon will appear if the image's DPI is lower than the DPI set in the PitchPrint account settings.

We also fixed the following bugs:

Image processing icon on Mobile - We identified an issue on mobile where the processing icon remained visible even after an image was successfully uploaded, causing confusion about whether the upload was complete. This issue has now been resolved, and the loading icon will disappear once an image has uploaded successfully.

Mini mode and Wrap Text - We encountered an issue where, when using a wrap text field with the data form, the text entered in the field on the canvas would not update in the form on the right. This issue has been resolved by recalculating the height of the field on the right. The updated text should now appear both in the form and on the canvas.

Mobile in App download buttons - We identified an issue on mobile devices where the download file buttons within the editor were not functioning correctly, preventing users from downloading their print files. This issue has been resolved, and the download functionality should now work properly across all devices.

Exciting news! We are currently working on a complete rewrite of the PitchPrint plugin for WordPress, which will be released in the coming weeks. Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing details about the updates and improvements, including several important fixes.

My-Account with Custom Integration - By default, we provide the standard integration of the editor for clients with custom-built sites. If these clients require additional features, such as My-Account functionality, they would typically need to write custom code. However, we've taken the initiative to develop the full code for the Saved Projects section on the My-Account page for users with custom integrations. This enables them to offer users the ability to save projects to their account page without the need for extensive development work. The code can be accessed through the following link:

Admin AI prompts -Previously, customers could only use prompts that they added themselves, and the default prompts were mostly generic. We’ve now empowered the Admin to add predefined prompts, which will be made available to the customer. You can add your own prompts in the settings under the Custom Javascript section by utilizing the following code:

window.PPCLIENT.aiPrompts = ['','','']

Each prompt needs to appear in Quotation marks, and needs to be seperated by a comma as shown in the code above. Please view an example below:

AI and Remove BG translations - This feature has been long overdue, and we’re pleased to announce that it’s finally here! As promised, we’ve added parameters for each item in both AI and Remove BG. You can now easily translate the text into your preferred language using these parameters.

Please note that we only update the English (EN) language file. To implement the translations, you'll need to copy the items from the EN file and add them to the langEdits code, as outlined in the translation document.

To enable the new translations, simply visit https://admin.pitchprint.com/layouts and reload the latest version. See the instructions below:

We also fixed the following bugs:

Page Loader and Template color module - Previously, when the Template Color module was enabled alongside the Page Loader module, the selected colors were not applied to newly added pages through the Page Loader module. We have resolved this issue, and now, all new pages added to a design will automatically reflect the current color selection from the Template Color module.

Welcome to our very first blog post of the year. We are excited about the plans we have for the rest of the year, and our team is diligently working on implementing new features and resolving any issues you may be experiencing.

What's new🚀,

Single/Double sided module with radio inputs - Previously, this module only functioned with a dropdown field. This approach was used because, by default, we only employ one unique element selector in PitchPrint to link to elements on your site, making the dropdown the only viable option.

We are excited to announce that we've updated this feature, and it now supports radio buttons. We will continue to enhance this feature with updates to support various other HTML tags.

Grey out Add to Cart button - In the past, we would completely hide the 'Add to Cart' button when the 'Customization Required' option was enabled, and it would only become available after the editor was used. This often caused confusion for many users regarding the ordering process.

We’ve now introduced an improved feature that greys out the 'Add to Cart' button and enables it once the customization process is complete. This provides much clearer guidance for the customer. You can enable this feature in settings please refer to the image below:

Search input for text art - Last year, we introduced a search functionality for Backgrounds, Images, and Fonts. We’ve now enhanced and expanded this feature to include the text art resource as well. Your customers will now be able to seamlessly search for the text art of their choice using either the text art title or a tag assigned to a text art.

We also fixed the following bugs:

Shopify Variant Selectors - Different Shopify themes handle variants in various ways, and Shopify recently introduced select fields that dynamically change options and values each time a selection is made. The challenge with this change was that PitchPrint requires the field to contain only one unique identifier to ensure consistent syncing and smooth functionality with the editor. Due to the dynamic nature of the options, the 'Customize' button sometimes failed to appear because the items weren't syncing properly.

We’ve addressed this issue, and our editor should now work seamlessly with any type of dropdown on Shopify.

Thumbnails not updating after template color change - One of our customers reported an issue where the thumbnail preview would not update when the Template color module was used. We have resolved this issue, and thumbnails should now update correctly when a new color is selected.
